Installation techniques:

Covering the subfloor with water and vapour insulant to create a damp-proof barrier.

Applying primer.
-
Water resistant plywood gluing and plugging/screwing.
-
Sanding to level out plywood joints.
-
Parquet gluing and nailing. Nailing with special parquet nails is obligatory.

Abrasive belt sanding with 60, 80 and 100 grit belts
-
Five coat seal coating, with sanding between coats to ensure the wood pores are well blocked.

Applying joint sealant in the wall/floor joints.
-
If requested, the floor can be covered with fibreboard sheets for protection against scratches, stains, sand and other mechanical damage that further finishing work in the room may cause.

This is an included part of the total cost in case a full installation service is ordered.
Minimum order is 30 m2. Allow for 7% material waste.
Pre-installation requirements:
- Flooring should not be delivered until plastering, tiling and all other "wet" work is completed and dry
- Sand/cement screed (500 cement type) over concrete floor is obligatory and should be levelled to within a maximum of 2 mm in every 2 metres and have no cracks or cavities
- No contact with moisture should occur during transportation and storage
- Moisture content of the walls and screed should not exceed 7%
- Flooring should be stored in a dry clean place.
